Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Shani Weiss is excited to announce the release of her highly anticipated second single, What's Left, released on March 21st, 2025. What's Left is a powerful and personal folk track, written just one week before Shani and her family made the bold decision to leave Israel and embark on a new chapter of their lives in Australia. With no job, no network, and no family waiting for them, they arrived with little more than a few suitcases, a guitar, and a pram, ready to embrace the unknown. The song was written amidst the whirlwind of packing, saying goodbye to loved ones, and letting go of everything that couldn’t make the journey."I wrote What's Left during one of the most overwhelming moments of my life," says Shani. "I was surrounded by boxes, lists, and a feeling of both loss and hope. It was a time of transitioning into the unknown with nothing but a dream for the future.
