All About Life was created after a conversation with my son Tom, who asked me the huge question - 'What is Life?' I tried to explain to him that it was everything, and that was a little too broad for him, so he started asking if it was 'driving in the car', or 'spending time with your family' or 'making someone laugh'. I was immediately captivated by this innocent outlook, that life is the simple everyday things we do and created the chorus with his suggestions. The verses are an example of a Monday to Friday rush with all the stress of life involved, waiting for the weekend where we can relax. I am hoping that this song can remind people to cherish the simple things in life, the everyday mundane routine things that make our lives what they are, and how lucky we are to have them.
